Jump’in Howlett Training Aid – Week Collection

We love this training device because it puts a new spin on the classic German martingale. 

The Howlett training aid is a great addition to your tack room. This aid helps encourage the proper placement of the horses head. When the horse raises it’s head pressure is applied from the rope attachment until the horse puts the head back at the proper level, the the pressure is released completely.

The Howlett is unique in that it includes a central pulley that allows freedom of side to side movement as opposed to a traditional German martingale. There are three levels of adjustment depending on which rein ring is used.
